Q: Why should I order from QEP?
A: Make QEP your one-stop shop of professional and classroom titles for school districts. There is no need for multiple purchase orders since QEP represents more than 40 publishers, including Corwin Press, Stenhouse, Heinemann, ASCD, Scholastic, Shell Education, Jossey-Bass, and many smaller publishers. Our goal is to help you locate the best professional and classroom titles to meet your needs.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes. Our discounts range from 0 - 30% on most publisher titles and we also offer larger discounts on bulk orders. Use our Request a Quote feature on our Home Page or contact our customer service department at qepsupport@qepbooks.com or call us 1-800-323-6787.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: QEP is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm CST.
Q: How can I place an order?
A: For purchase orders, we prefer to receive via email at qeporders@qepbooks.com. We will also accept purchase orders via fax, online, or by USPS mail. If you would like to print a copy of our QEP Order Form, please refer to Catalogs & Flyers section on our Home Page. To pay with a credit card, you can call us or order online.
Q: May I use a purchase Order?
A: You may use a school district purchase order for placing orders. The PO should include PO #, Bill-To Address, Ship-To Address, phone number, contact person, contact persons email, and any special instructions for your order. You may send the PO by mail, fax or email.
Q: How do I place an online order?
A: You may place an online order by using our website and following the prompts. Ordering online may entitle you to special discounts and offers, such as free shipping on orders over $100.00. Payment can be made using MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card or American Express. All credit card information is secure when placed through our online store.
Q: Can I place an online order with a purchase order?
A: A: Absolutely! When ordering through our website, just add the PO number in the Payment Method field, then email a copy of the PO to

Q: I placed an order online but did not receive a confirmation. Should I order again?
A: No. Please contact our customer service department at 1-800-323-6787 between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm CST, or send an email to
qeporders@qepbooks.com
. Please include your billing name, address, order number, and the approximate date and time of your order. It is likely that we received your order, but due to a typographical error in your email address, or other mail server errors, the confirmation never reached you.
Q: How do I place a phone order?
A: You may order by calling our toll free number 1-800-323-6787 or direct at 972-985-0025.
Q: How do I place an order by fax?
A: You may fax your request to 972-964-2104.
Q: How do I place an order by mail?

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: For online orders we accept Mastercard, VISA, Discover Card or American Express.
Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: QEP is required to report sales tax to states on all items sold to individuals. The sales tax will be added to your order at checkout. School districts are tax exempt. If you are tax exempt and paying with a school credit card, please submit a copy of the district’s Tax Exempt Certificate by email, fax or mail. QEP will keep it on file so you need only send it once. Your order will be placed on hold until we receive a copy of your certificate. If you are paying by PO, it is not necessary to send a tax exempt certificate.
Q: When will I get my order?
A: An order received for in-stock items will ship within 24 hours. For out of stock items, please allow 5-10 days.
Q: Do you charge shipping/handling?
A: We are pleased to offer our online customers free shipping when paying with a credit card on the website and your order is greater than $100. Orders under $100 receive a $7.00 shipping charge. If placing an order with a purchase order, our standard shipping is a minimum of $7.00 while orders over $100.00 receive a 9% shipping charge.
Q: What if I get a damaged item?
A: Claims regarding damaged items must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Please call 1-800-323-6787 to speak with a customer service representative. You will be asked which item was damaged or defective and whether you would like a replacement copy or credit. The replacement will be sent as soon as possible. A UPS prepaid return shipping label may be issued for the damaged item.
Q: What if an item is missing from my order?
A: Claims regarding missing items must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Please call QEP at 1-800-323-6787 to speak with a customer service representative. We will ship the missing item as soon as possible.
Q: What if I received the wrong item?
A: Claims regarding incorrect items must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Please call QEP at 1-800-323-6787 to speak with a customer service representative.

Q: What if I need to return part or all of my order?
A: Returns, with authorization, must be accompanied by invoice or packing slip and will be accepted within 45 days of purchase. All items must be in resalable condition and a 5% restocking fee may apply. Return shipping charges are paid for by the individual or district. QEP cannot accept returns on certain items:
Any item that is not in original package
Any item not in saleable condition
Any special order books
Any item without prior authorization

Q: Do you have a store I may visit?
A: QEP is located in the southwest corner of Independence Pkwy and Parker Road in Plano, TX. We are primarily an office/warehouse facility but we welcome visits from our customers. Please call ahead to let us know you are coming!
